Privacy Policy for Huelix

Effective 24 October 2026

Effective date: 24 October 2026

Huelix ("the app", "the game") is a block-puzzle game for Android made by Saquib Aftab, an individual developer based in India ("I", "me"). This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and the choices you have.

The short version:

  • You don't need an account to play.
  • Your game progress stays on your device.
  • The app shows ads from Google AdMob, and AdMob collects some device information to show and measure those ads.
  • Purchases are handled by Google Play.
  • I don't run any servers, and I don't receive your personal information.

1. Information stored on your device

The game saves the following only on your phone or tablet:

  • Your scores and best score.
  • Odyssey level progress and stars, and Daily Challenge streaks.
  • Drops, power-ups and unlocked themes.
  • Your settings.
  • Whether you bought Remove Ads.

I don't receive this information.

If Android backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may include this game data in your device backup. Google stores that backup under your account according to Google's terms. That lets your progress return when you reinstall the app or move to a new phone.

You can delete all game data at any time by uninstalling the app, or with Settings → Apps → Huelix → Storage → Clear storage.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Huelix shows ads, provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC), to keep the game free:

  • Optional "watch an ad for a reward" ads.
  • Occasional ads between games.

To show, measure and protect these ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the app automatically collects and shares with Google:

  • Device and advertising identifiers: your device's Android advertising ID and app set ID.
  • IP address: may be used to estimate your approximate location, such as your country or city.
  • How you interact with ads and the app: for example app launches, ad views and taps.
  • Diagnostic information: for example app performance data such as launch time and responsiveness.

Google uses this information for advertising (including, where you allow it, personalized ads), analytics (measuring ad performance) and fraud prevention and security. All of this data is encrypted in transit.

For how Google handles this information, see:

I don't see or receive these identifiers myself. I only see combined, anonymous reports from AdMob, such as how many ads were shown.

Your choices:

  • Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland): when you first open the app in these regions, a consent message from Google lets you agree to or decline personalized advertising and related data use.
  • US state privacy rights: if you live in a US state with consumer privacy laws, the same message lets you opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for targeted advertising.
  • Change your choice any time: open Settings → Privacy options in Huelix. The option appears where these laws apply.
  • Advertising ID: on Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, under Settings → Google → All services → Ads (the wording varies by device).
  • Remove Ads: buying Remove Ads turns off the ads between games. Rewarded ads remain available only if you choose to watch them.

3. Purchases (Google Play)

The Remove Ads purchase is processed by Google Play:

  • I don't receive your payment details, such as your card number or UPI ID.
  • The app only checks with Google Play whether Remove Ads was purchased on your Google account, so it can switch the ads off and restore your purchase on a new device.
  • Google's handling of payments is covered by the Google Payments Privacy Notice.

4. Crash and performance reports

The app has no crash-reporting or analytics SDK of its own.

If you have allowed your Android device to share usage and diagnostics with Google, Google Play may collect anonymous crash and "app not responding" reports. Google shares them with developers in aggregate so they can fix problems. You control this in your device settings.

5. Notifications

If you turn on the Daily Challenge reminder, the app schedules one notification a day on your device. It's created by the app itself, not sent from a server, and no information leaves your phone for it.

You can turn the reminder off in Settings → Daily reminder, or in Android's notification settings.

6. What I do not do

  • I don't ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone or precise location.
  • I don't create user accounts.
  • I don't sell your personal information. I have no access to it.
  • The app has no chat, sharing with other players, or user-generated content.
  • When you use Share on a score card, the image is passed to the Android share sheet and goes only where you choose to send it.

7. Children

Huelix is meant for players aged 13 and over and isn't directed at children under 13. I don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child under 13 is using the app in a way that involves their information, contact me and I'll help. For example, I can explain how to reset the advertising ID and clear the app's data.

8. Data retention and deletion

  • Game data on your device is kept until you clear it or uninstall the app (see section 1).
  • Advertising data collected by Google is kept and deleted according to Google's own policies. You can manage it with the controls in section 2 and at myadcenter.google.com.
  • I don't hold any personal data about you that I could delete.
  • If you have a question or request about your data, email me and I'll respond within 30 days.

9. Security

  • Information sent by the ads and billing components is encrypted in transit (TLS).
  • Game data stays in the app's private storage on your device.

10. Where data is processed

Google may process advertising and payment data on servers outside your country, including in the United States, under Google's safeguards for international transfers.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. This includes, for example:

  • The EU/UK GDPR.
  • US state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA.
  • India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Because the app doesn't give me your personal data:

  • Most of these requests are best handled through Google's tools (section 2) and your device settings (section 1).
  • You're always welcome to contact me, and I'll help however I can.

12. Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects your privacy, for example a new service, I'll update this page and its effective date before the change reaches the app.
